New Glasgow Munroe is a character in the Canadian Boys in-universe documentary/drama TV series A Nova Scotian Way of Life, often popularly abbreviated to ANSWOL. Arguably the most prominent out of the entire current cast of ANSWOL, he has become the de-facto 'mascot' of the series.
New Glasgow is a 20-year-old man of White Scottish Canadian heritage. He has brown hair and dark hazel eyes. He wears a burgundy-red jacket with a light pink collared shirt underneath, a light orange tartan kilt fastened with a belt, and a pair of black gillie shoes with white cotton socks inside. He is a Highland dancer, and he performs at ceilidhs and Highland Games around the city with many other fellow Highland dancers.
New Glasgow is a figure of adoration for many young women and men, and he shows romantic and sexual attraction to both genders, making him effectively bisexual.
New Glasgow is somewhat vain. Every time he is seen, he always seems to be getting some sort of beauty treatment, such as a mani-pedicure, hair washing and styling, or a facial mask. He habitually looks in the mirror to complement himself on his 'good looks'.
New Glasgow has developed something of a notorious reputation due to his continual falling in and out of love with unsuspecting people, sleaziness and love of alcohol.
